A student got suspended on December 3rd for a
whole year for just hugging a teacher. The school board claims that the kid was
breaking sexual assault conduct for school. He is a senior and a football player.
Because the student got suspended, his shot at scholarships was eliminated
putting his college education in jeopardy. The students name is Sam McNair. The
teacher also accused him of kissing her on the neck and cheek during the hug.
McNair pleads innocent to the accused harassment. The school board and other people are still
trying to figure things out and also figure out punishment for him. They are
still not giving out full information.
