There is a new study trying to figure out how Marijuana can
stop children from having seizures. A family heard about pot having CBD which
helps with seizures but THC causes seizures so they thought if they could have
low THC and high CBD then they would try to give their child this pot. These
brothers made this plant called Charlotte's web and it has that exact mixture. A family took a chance and gave it to their 5
year old child that would have a seizure everyday almost, and could only say a
couple words and was in a wheelchair. Now she can say complete sentences and
she is mobile and can run and jump and stuff. They don’t know why this has
improved her but they are going to keep doing it while they try to find the
study. They have supplied this drug to about 300 other patients and 2,000
others on a waiting list.
