In Colorado recently a mile marker sign was changed. The mile
marker that was replaced was the sign mile 420 because since marijuana is now
legal in Colorado pot heads would steal this sign because it is a marijuana related
phrase. It was said to be made up a
while ago that was used instead of the word marijuana they would use this as a
code word. Colorado smokers kept stealing it so much that they lost track of
how many times it has happened. Now the sign they put there reads mile 419.99
and they also moved it up the road a little bit to make it true.
